Role PurposeSupport the Audit team, working alongside the Audit Director and management team to provide a first-class service to clients, ensuring all statutory deadlines are met. Support the development and growth of the Audit team.Role ObjectivesSupport the Audit Director with the management and development of the Audit team through effective supervision and training Effectively plan an audit and then carry out that plan through audit testing and ensure all parts of the file are completedEnsure all accounts are reviewed and review points fed back to team membersCarry out managerial tasks and support wider team with their development through regular reviews, on the job training and study supportWork with the Audit Director to allocate work across the team Organise and lead weekly team meetings to discuss client deadlines, workload/planner and billing targetsAttend client meetings, building excellent working relationships and winning new workAssist with the delivery of CPD training and webinars ensuring the teams remain compliant with the latest legislative changesHelp shape the audit team driving best practice while ensuring efficiency.Start building your own portfolio of clients to manage and take forward.You will be/haveQualified in either ACCA or ACA Ability to plan and lead an audit throughout its entirety Technically strong, with knowledge of both UK GAAP and IFRSPrevious experience in a managerial/team leadership capacityConfident dealing with clients at all levelsProactive approach to work and the ability to work under pressureWhat we offerA company mantra of having fun together, getting results together and giving back togetherA bespoke training and development plan with the opportunity to expand and diversify your skills26 days holiday, company pension scheme, health care plan, cycle to work scheme, death in service benefits and access to our in house Wealth Planning and Mortgage departmentsSmart working and agile working hours including the ability to work remotely for up to 20% of your contracted timeAbility to work away from home remotely for up to 4 weeks per year, great for extending a trip to see family or making the most of warmer climatesAll expenses paid annual social trip overseasSedulo Group requests that recruitment agencies do not speculatively submit CVs to any employee or associate of our company unless explicitly asked to do so by our People & Culture Director.
