Role Description: Here in our Bromley office we are looking for a Group Operations Manager to head our EMEA Leasing Operations team The EMEA Leasing Operations team consists of 15 Leasing professionals supporting Bank of America's asset finance business in EMEA. Various asset classes are financed by the group such as shipping vessels, aircraft, rail, commercial vehicles, plant machinery and technology hardware/software. The EMEA Leasing business has grown substantially over the last 5 years and the team processes around 700 new transactions, around 10,000 billing events and 35,000 cash items each year Responsibilities: What will your main responsibilities involve: The leasing operations team responsibilities commence once an asset finance transaction (Lease, Loan, HP, SALB etcis approved by credit. Responsibilities of the role include: - Leads the design, development, and implementation of complex products, systems, and services in an operations environment using subject matter expertise - Manages projects and direct activities of a team related to special initiatives - Advises as a technical expert in assigned area by providing work direction, guidance, and training to employees and business partners on new complex initiatives - Builds relationships with business partners across various Lines of Business - Manages and defines responsibilities and accountabilities for key program and projects - Ensuring the deal is correctly documented and is in line with business approvals. - Approving and processing transactions for funding - Booking transactions to the ALFA Lease Management system - End of lease documentation including early terminations and amendments - Customer Service activities - Internal and external audit request management - Cash Reconciliation and reporting using Frontier This role also requires a number of management responsivities from recruitment, training, presenting to senior leadership, managing performance, tracking metrics data and developing individual performance plans.
