Westin Par Recruitment Experts is recruiting for an experienced Transport Manager with an International CPC to join a well-established international haulage operator based in Dover.
This is a key appointment within a busy transport operation, responsible for overseeing compliance and acting as the nominated Transport Manager on a Standard International Operator’s Licence covering 60 vehicles and 60 trailers.
The successful candidate will play a vital role ensuring fleet operations remain compliant, efficient and legally robust within a fast-moving international logistics environment.
Key Responsibilities
Acting as the nominated CPC holder on the Operator Licence
Managing full O Licence compliance across the fleet
Monitoring and managing driver tachograph data and infringements
Investigating and addressing driver compliance issues
Ensuring adherence to transport legislation and health & safety regulations
Working closely with the onsite workshop to ensure fleet servicing and inspections are completed on schedule
Supporting efficient planning of vehicle maintenance and defect reporting
Maintaining compliance records and preparing for audits or inspections
Candidate Profile
International Transport Manager CPC licence (essential)
Previous experience as a Transport Manager within haulage or logistics
Strong working knowledge of driver hours regulations and tachograph compliance
Proven experience managing Operator Licence compliance
Highly organised with strong attention to detail
Proactive and flexible approach to operational management
Desirable
Mechanical or engineering background
HGV licence
Experience managing large HGV fleets
Package
£42,000 – £48,000 depending on experience
