Psychology is a popular subject at both GCSE and A-Level, attracting engaged and ambitious students year on year. The school is looking for a teacher who can inspire curiosity, promote critical thinking, and deliver consistently high-quality lessons across Key Stages 4 and 5.
The Role
You will be responsible for delivering well-structured and engaging Psychology lessons that develop students’ understanding of key psychological theories, research methods, and analytical skills. There is a strong emphasis on both academic achievement and helping students develop genuine interest and confidence within the subject.
At Sixth Form level, students are highly motivated and respond well to discussion-based learning, independent research, and evaluative writing tasks. Teachers are encouraged to bring creativity and subject expertise into the classroom while working within a clear and supportive curriculum structure.
The Department
The successful candidate will join a collaborative and supportive Social Sciences team that works closely on curriculum planning, assessment, and sharing best practice. * Daily rate up to £260 per day (paid to teacher pay scale)
