Our client, Trafford Council is seeking an Advanced Practitioner to join their Early Help Team.

Responsibilities of this role:
* Ensure high-quality social work that improves outcomes for children and young people.
* Safeguard vulnerable children at risk of harm or abuse.
* Lead and coordinate effective plans for children and families.
* Promote a strengths-based approach aligned with national standards and policies.
* Manage a small caseload of complex cases while supporting team practice quality.
* Support long-term planning for children in care.
* Help improve service quality under the guidance of senior leaders.
* Record work clearly to show impact and meet performance targets.
* Work with other Advanced Practitioners and managers to maintain strong practice.
* Help allocate cases and manage workloads based on team needs.
* Monitor record keeping and reporting to ensure high standards.
* Attend or lead key meetings like strategy discussions and case conferences.
* Support efficient team operations and service delivery.
* Help involve children and families in shaping services.
* Encourage teamwork and strong multi-agency collaboration.
* Assist with safe staff recruitment and onboarding.
* Ensure staff receive proper induction and regular reflective supervision.
Requirements of this role:
* Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
* Must have minimum of 3 year's experience working as a Qualified social worker
