This post will contribute to the 24-hour "on call" commitment of IM&T Services, with additional payments applying. The role involves providing operational support for users of the Electronic Patient Record (Millennium) and contributing to project support activities for the Digital Programme.
The successful applicant will investigate and resolve service incidents/requests, perform data cleansing activities, and support the delivery of core Electronic Patient Record training. They may assist with testing system enhancements, upgrades, and fixes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide operational application support to Electronic Patient Record (EPR) and associated downstream system users.
* Deliver data quality and data cleansing activities related to Electronic Patient Record (EPR) and associated downstream systems.
* Contribute to project support activities for the Digital Programme.
* Support the delivery of new systems, developments, and enhancements in line with the Digital Programme.
Requirements:
* GCSE 'C' grade or equivalent in English and Maths.
* Educated to 'A' Level standard or comparable organisational experience.
Desirable Criteria:
* IT qualifications.
* ITIL Foundation course.
* NVQ Level 2 in Call Handling.
* Organised and good interpersonal skills.
* Ability to multi-task and work without supervision.
* Ability to communicate effectively, including sensitive situations.
* Experience of working in an NHS or healthcare environment and knowledge of Millennium.
* Customer-focused with a logical approach to problem-solving.
