The Role
As a Freight Coordinator, you will be responsible for the start to finish process of moving import & export shipments by all modes. You will be commercially minded with a real passion for moving freight & solving problems for time critical cargo (commercial & military arms & equipment).
* Negotiating and booking cargo with carriers.
* Managing documentation flow, including Bills of Lading, Packing Lists, Commercial Invoices, Certificates of Origin & Licences.
* Shipping explosives, weapons & defence equipment.
* Arranging collection / delivery and managing all the way to final destination.
Essential Criteria
* Import or Export experience (ideally both)
* Commercially minded
* Excellent communication

Salary & Benefits
For the right candidate our client is looking to pay between £25-35k for the right person along with benefits, company bonus & free parking. Monday to Friday 9-5.30pm
