Key Responsibilities
* Operate and maneuver: Safely drive and handle the telehandler to transport a variety of materials including bricks, timber, scaffolding, and general supplies.
* Material management: Accurately load and unload deliveries, ensuring resources reach various trades promptly while maintaining site efficiency.
* Routine maintenance: Carry out daily equipment checks and perform basic maintenance to ensure our machinery remains in top condition.
* Health & Safety: Rigorously adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies while working collaboratively with site management and fellow team members.
Candidate Requirements
* Proven Experience: Demonstrable experience operating telehandlers on construction sites, ideally in residential projects.
* Certifications: Must hold a valid CPCS/NPORS telehandler ticket (essential) and a current CSCS card.
* Safety First: A proactive attitude towards site safety, with keen attention to detail and adherence to best practices.
* Team Player: Excellent communication skills, reliability, and the ability to work well both independently and within a team.
