Clinical Healthcare Support Worker - Breast unit
Join our vibrant and dynamic multidisciplinary team as a Clinical Healthcare Support Worker (Band 3) in the Breast unit at Royal United Hospital, Bath. This role supports adult patients with benign breast conditions and breast cancer. The unit operates Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 18:00.

Main duties of the job
* To assist in patient care and other department related duties under the supervision of the trained nurse.
* To carry out routine and extended role duties, when trained and assessed as competent, as instructed by and under the supervision of the registered nurse in charge.
* To contribute to a team approach to patient care in conjunction with nursing colleagues and all members of the multidisciplinary team, and to work in accordance with Trust values and hospital policies.

Person specification
Knowledge and Experience
* Understands the need for strict confidentiality
* Understands and is committed to a caring approach to patients and relatives
* Care Certificate or equivalent
* Experience of working as a healthcare assistant in an acute setting

* IT skills
