Senior Development Manager - London
We are seeking a Development Manager to work across Commercial led and mixed use developments in London and the South East.
We are hiring for a Senior Development Manager to lead and support the delivery of current projects across offices, industrial and mixed use, in addition to providing project management services to our other private and public sector clients.
You will have excellent experience in delivering project and development management advice to a wide variety of clients over a range of assets and geographies.
About you
* Over 10 years’ experience delivering development and project management services in both client-side and consultancy roles, across a diverse UK client portfolio.
* Strong end-to-end delivery record, successfully taking development projects from initial concept and feasibility through to completion and handover.
* Highly experienced in leading and motivating multi-disciplinary external teams to achieve programme, quality, and commercial objectives.
* Skilled in risk management, with a thorough approach to identifying, mitigating, and actively managing development risk throughout the project lifecycle.
* Proven capability working with the construction supply chain, building effective relationships across consultants, contractors, and specialist suppliers.
* Accountable for cost performance, including financial reporting, budget control, and the application of project financial models.
* Confident leadership style, balancing creativity with delivery discipline to maximise team performance and project outcomes.
* Strong, current knowledge of UK residential, commercial, and industrial property markets, with a clear interest in market dynamics and trends.
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication, able to influence and build alignment across varied audiences.
* High-standard report writing and presentation skills, translating complex property and development information into clear, accessible messages for non-property stakeholders (written and verbal).
