Academics are searching for a Social Sciences teacher for one of our well-established schools in Wakefield. Your main responsibilities as a Social Sciences teacher will involve the following:
Covering all aspects of Social Sciences including Sociology, Psychology, and Geography, across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5
Supervising student's behaviour and referring to the school's behaviour management policy if required
Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet curriculum standards
Following the schools safeguarding policies, ensuring a safe environment for the students
Qualities and attributes we are looking for as a Social Sciences Teacher:
Experience teaching Social Sciences up to A-Level, particularly Psychology.
Excellent communication skills with a passion for making an impact on students' lives
A relevant degree related to Social Sciences accompanied with a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
An enhanced DBS on the update service, or willing to apply to one
