Castle Point Borough Council is seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Finance Business Partner to join our Finance & Procurement Service, supporting the Corporate and Customer Directorate.
Key Skills And Abilities
* Strong consulting and negotiation skills, with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
* Ability to build influential relationships with a broad range of stakeholders
* Skilled in translating complex financial concepts for non-finance audiences
* Proficient in financial modelling, options appraisal and business intelligence tools
* Able to provide robust challenge and support to budget holders and senior managers
* Committed to continuous improvement and service transformation
Experience
* Extensive experience in public sector budgeting and accounting, preferably within a Local Authority
* Proven track record in financial modelling and strategic financial planning
* Experience in managing or supervising staff
* Demonstrated ability to support service transformation and value for money initiatives
Qualifications
* CCAB or CIMA qualified
* Demonstrates commitment to ongoing professional development
