We have a fantastic opportunity to join City & Guilds as a Management Accountant. You will be part of our central C&G team and focus on working for TS4U (one of our City & Guilds Training businesses). We are seeking a skilled Management Accountant to support our finance team. With expertise in Sage Intacct, you'll play a key role in producing accurate financial reports, managing key accounting processes, and driving financial insights during a critical period for the business.
This role is a hybrid position with a mix of working 2/3 days per week from one of our City & Guilds Training offices based in Doncaster and working from home.
The position is suitable for someone who wants a full-time role in a supportive, fast-paced environment. We are looking for experience from a similar role.
Doncaster office (City & Guilds Training, Intertrain) is well located and commutable by public transport.

About The Role
What you will be doing:
* Preparing monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and insightful commentary.
* Managing accrued income and income received in advance, ensuring compliance with reporting standards.
* Overseeing month-end processes such as accruals, prepayments, and reconciliations.
* Producing budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections.
* Assisting with audit preparation and year-end statutory reporting.
* Maintaining accurate financial records in Sage Intacct.
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable and timely financial data.
* Delivering ad-hoc financial reports and analysis to support decision-making.
* Periodic travel to training sites in Gatwick and London.
About You
Attributes we are looking for:
* Proven experience as a Management Accountant in a similar role.
* Proficiency in Sage Intacct.
* Strong understanding of accrued income and income received in advance.
* Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA) or significant relevant experience.
* Excellent analytical skills and high attention to detail.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
We would love you to have
* Advanced Excel skills for financial modelling and analysis.
* Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
* Knowledge of industry-specific financial reporting requirements.
