This role is ideal for someone with field sales or direct selling experience who enjoys autonomy, building relationships, and seeing the direct impact of your work in store. It offers the chance to work with a range of market‑leading clients and get your foot in the door with our specialist agencies. You’ll also have continuous support from colleagues, fantastic career growth opportunities and excellent perks.

About Us

Zing is part of Avidity Group Ltd, the parent company of a group of sales and marketing agencies - Zing, McCurrach, Standout, Wave & Thumbprint.

We put a little zing into sales. We build communities of tactical teams who support leading brands with new product launches, building distribution and availability, increasing sales in targeted locations and giving consumers the best possible shopping experience.

Be yourself and grow, have your voice heard, and develop your career with flexible working policies and an abundance of opportunity with a sustainable, forward‑thinking agency.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Territory Manager, you’ll manage your own territory, working closely with the Regional Sales Manager and a friendly, supportive field team.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Managing a FMCG convenience territory and planning visits around store manager availability to maximise opportunities
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with store managers and key decision makers
  • Negotiating additional displays and promotional activity
  • Driving distribution, availability and compliance across agreed product ranges
  • Executing merchandising activity in line with brand guidelines
  • Actively selling and promoting products to maximise sales and visibility
  • Using sales data to track performance and identify growth opportunities

What We’re Looking for

We are ideally looking for a candidate who has the following skills and experience, but if you’re excited about this role but your experience doesn’t align perfectly, we still encourage you to apply – you might be just the right person for our team.

You’ll need:

  • Experience working in field sales or a similar role
  • Strong communication skills and confidence influencing stakeholders
  • Excellent time management and territory planning ability
  • Be self‑motivated and results‑driven
  • A full UK Driving Licence (no more than 6 points and no previous bans)

Nice to have:

  • Experience working in the convenience sector
  • Merchandising or POS execution experience
  • Direct selling skills

What You’ll Get in Return

Benefits and Perks:

  • Competitive salary and remuneration: annual pay reviews, performance bonuses and early pay access
  • Transport: Company vehicle and fuel card
  • Flexible working policies: SMART working options for all staff members and no weekend working
  • Flexible annual leave entitlement: 23 days paid holiday + bank holidays (increasing with length of service) and the option to purchase 5 additional annual leave days
  • Family‑friendly policies: enhanced sick pay, maternity/paternity leave, carers leave and parental leave
  • Health and wellbeing: Employee assistance programme, including 8 face‑to‑face counselling sessions, wellness taskforce, community of mental health first aiders and wellness workshops
  • Learning and development: PDR objectives, mentorship, career development plans, access to internal vacancies across all our Group Agencies
  • Additional perks: discounted private healthcare, retail discounts, daily lunch allowance and life insurance

Our Commitment to Diversity, Equality and Inclusion

Feel empowered to be your best and authentic self in a safe and supportive working environment. Our colleagues come from a variety of backgrounds, education, experience levels, age groups, religions and ethnicities. We’re committed to inclusive and blind recruitment practices, providing forward‑thinking policies such as transgender and Ramadan policies, and celebrating diversity through engagement sessions for key events such as Pride, International Women’s Day and Black History Month.
