Permanent role at the Ministry of Justice (MoJ) account in HMP/YOI Foston Hall. Position based on‑site.

* Location: Foston Hall, HM Prison and Probation Service (HMPPS)
* Hours: 39 hours per week, across 7 days (weekend shift pattern on rota basis)
* Weekend work: Possible, with an additional 15% allowance of basic salary
You Will Be Responsible For
* Routine and non‑routine maintenance
* Fault finding and identification of life‑expired equipment
* Repair, make‑good faults and life‑expired equipment
* Inspections, water sampling and risk assessment
* Mains water supply repairs
* Minimise wastage and continually improve processes
* Ensure statutory works are carried out on time and in compliance
* Potential work at height and in all weather conditions
* Maintain health & safety standards across the contract

Ensuring all works are performed to the highest safety standards and according to agreed method statements. Prison security clearance required (Amey will support through the process).
We Want To Hear From You If You Have
* Full driving licence
* Appropriate trade qualification (Level 3)
* Experience operating light plant
Ideal candidates hold NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing and Heating with experience in plumbing maintenance; NVQ Level 2 may also be considered.
Desirable but not essential: Legionella Control (L8) and experience in a commercial environment.
