Location: Sandy Balls Holiday Village, New Forest, Fordingbridge, SP6 2JZ

Salary: £50,000 plus OTE- Dependant on experience
What we need in a nutshell
We’re looking for an experienced sales manager to take our holiday home sales to the next level by delivering sales against stretching targets, ensuring our owner experience is outstanding and managing, developing and motivating the sales team, while ensuring an open and ethical sales journey for buyers.
Who are we?
Sandy Balls Holiday Village is a world away from your day to day, with more trees than you can… well, shake a stick at. We have resident alpacas, a bush-craft school and forest laser tag, along with the usual holiday heroes of cycling and swimming. But New Forest holidays are also about tranquillity, which is why our Retreat spa and cosy, cottage-style lodges and caravans are here to help our guests unwind.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll be ensuring the Holiday Home Sales team achieve budget. You will also be championing the use of innovative technology as well as ensuring the new owner experience is outstanding. In more detail, this includes:
1. Managing and motivating the Holiday Home Sales team to hit sales and part exchange budgets, as well as making some sales of your own
2. Overseeing stock management, ensuring enough pitches are available and that caravans are presented at their best
3. Providing an amazing customer service experience to our owners
4. Overseeing the aftersales process, ensuring that issues are addressed promptly
5. Promoting and facilitating a transparent, honest sales process in line with our company values
6. Looking for new and creative ways to generate leads through CGI and VR, pioneering a new experience for holiday home buyers
7. Taking ownership of the sales journey, even after completion, so that new owners can be confident their purchase lives up to the sales promise
One more thing…we’re always busy at holiday times, so you’ll need to work your magic on bank holidays and weekends too.
Skills, experience and qualities you’ll need
We are looking for a high-calibre manager who can demonstrate the following:
8. A good level of general education
9. At least 2 years holiday home sales management experience
10. Excellent leadership and motivational skills
11. Ability to manage performance issues and conflict situations with confidence and empathy
12. Exceptional communication skills and able to adapt style to people at all levels
13. A strategic mindset and a forward-thinking outlook, open to new ideas
14. A strong focus on customer service delivery
It’s the icing on the cake, but not essential, if you have an NVQ in hospitality, customer services or tourism, have worked in a similar role on a holiday park and have coaching and mentoring experience.
