Contracts Manager – Structural Steel / Steel Framing
Location: Scotland / North of England Projects
Our client is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee the successful delivery of multiple structural steel and light gauge steel framing projects.
The role will be responsible for managing contracts from award through to completion, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, and within budget while maintaining strong relationships with clients, main contractors, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage multiple structural steel / steel framing contracts from award to completion
* Oversee project programmes, budgets, and commercial performance
* Coordinate design, fabrication, and site installation teams
* Manage variations, valuations, and final accounts
* Lead client and progress meetings with contractors and consultants
* Ensure compliance with health & safety and quality standards
Requirements
* Proven experience in a Contracts Manager or Senior Project Manager role within construction or structural steel
* Strong commercial and programme management skills
* Knowledge of Scotland/North of England/UK construction contracts (e.g., JCT / NEC)
* Excellent leadership and client management abilities
