Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Garden Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in horticulture and gardening, with hands-on experience in landscape maintenance and plant care. This role involves working outdoors, utilising various hand and power tools, and contributing to the overall aesthetic and health of our garden spaces.
Responsibilities
* Assist in the planting, watering, and maintenance of flowers, shrubs, and trees.
* Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various gardening tasks.
* Implement irrigation systems to ensure optimal plant growth.
* Conduct regular inspections of garden areas to identify pests or diseases and take appropriate action.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of tools and equipment.
* Collaborate with team members to execute landscape design plans efficiently.
* Provide knowledgeable advice to customers regarding plant care and selection.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in gardening or horticulture is preferred.
* Familiarity with landscape maintenance practices is an advantage.
* Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools related to gardening tasks.
* Understanding of irrigation systems and their maintenance.
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
* Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
