About the job
The Project Engineer is a critical role in supporting the delivery of electrical and/or civil engineering aspects of multidisciplinary construction and renewable energy projects. Reporting directly to the Design Manager, this role ensures the planning, design, and execution of electrical and/or civil engineering works meet the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.
The successful candidate will collaborate with design teams, contractors, and project stakeholders to deliver engineering solutions that align with project specifications, budgets, and timelines.

What you will bring
* Proven experience in Civil engineering / Electrical Engineering roles within the electrical utilities or renewable energy sectors, specifically up to 33kV Cabling or Substation Projects.
* Strong track record of delivering engineering works on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
* Experience with site supervision and managing contractors is preferred.
* Strong technical knowledge of engineering principles, standards, and regulations.
* Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
* Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
This role is for you if you have
* Degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering
* 3-5 years design experience in substations / cabling projects
* Skilled at identifying /analysing engineering difficulties
* Willingness to learn
* Would like broader progression into project engineering / project management opportunities
