Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Assistant Manager with strong leadership and communication abilities to guide the team toward achieving sales and KPI targets while providing unparalleled service.
Responsibilities
* Supporting the Store Manager in effectively running all store operations to meet or exceed sales and KPI targets.
* Setting clear sales goals, tracking performance, and evolving processes to ensure continuous store growth.
* Creating a positive team culture through recruiting, training, and continuous development of staff.
* Building a motivated and high‑performing team, increasing store success chances.
* Analyzing sales data and financial reports to make quick, well‑informed decisions alongside the Store Manager, identifying and responding to opportunities operationally and commercially.
* Acting as the point of contact for colleagues in the manager’s absence.
* Providing excellent customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving complaints professionally.
* Managing day‑to‑day operations, including opening and closing procedures.
* Supporting cash management tasks, such as processing transactions and reconciling tills.
* Participating in hiring, onboarding, and training new employees.
* Providing feedback and coaching to colleagues to improve performance.
* Supporting the Store Manager in maintaining colleague schedules to ensure proper coverage and productivity.
* Contributing to achieving or exceeding the store’s monthly sales target.
* Driving all additional KPIs, including but not limited to units, conversion, ATV, UPT.
* Aiming to achieve upselling or cross‑selling targets.
* Maintaining a high Net Promoter Score.
* Ensuring stock accuracy during store audits.
* Ensuring all new colleagues complete mandatory training required.
* Ensuring employee satisfaction and engagement survey results meet or exceed company benchmarks.
* Assisting in keeping operational costs within the allocated budget.
Skills and Experience
* Previous supervisory or management experience in a fast‑paced retail/customer‑facing environment.
* Passion for retail with a good understanding of the latest trends and competitors.
* Prior experience coaching and developing individuals.
* Strong communication skills.
* Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and KPI’s.
* Experience analyzing KPI data for making commercial decisions.
* Keen eye for detail and commerciality.
* Previous experience in visual merchandising would be advantageous.
