Freelance Quantity Surveyor – High Rise Scheme

We are seeking an experienced Freelance Quantity Surveyor to join a leading construction contractor on a major high-rise residential development in Leeds. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in a landmark city centre project, working alongside an established commercial and project management team.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee and manage all cost-related aspects of the high-rise scheme from procurement through to final accounts.
* Prepare and assess subcontractor payments, variations, and valuations.
* Support monthly cost reporting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
* Liaise with site teams, design consultants, and the client to ensure commercial objectives are met.
* Provide accurate cost advice and contribute to value engineering and risk management strategies.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor on high-rise residential or commercial projects.
* Strong working knowledge of JCT contracts and construction processes.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple workstreams.
* Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
* Immediate availability preferred.
