Job Purpose
* To carry out all aspects commissioning equipment and customer sites worldwide.
* To conduct maintenance of associated facilities and equipment to ensure the accurate delivery of the Commissioning process to the highest standards.
* To assist with pre commissioning activities in testing of the equipment as required prior to delivery to site.
What You Will Do
* Oversee the commissioning process for turbine:powered generator sets, ensuring they meet operational standards.
* Collaborate with cross:functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
* Provide technical support and guidance on the installation and operation of gas turbines.
* Conduct performance tests and validate the reliability and efficiency of systems.
* Prepare comprehensive commissioning documentation and reports.
* Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements to continuously improve processes and services.
What You Will Bring
* Proven experience as a Commissioning Engineer in the aerospace or industrial gas turbine sector.
* Strong understanding of gas turbine technology and generator set operations.
* Excellent problem:solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
* A commitment to maintaining high safety and quality standards.
* Exceptional communication and documentation skills.
Qualifications And Skills
* Multi:disciplined qualified engineer, HNC/HND or degree in an engineering discipline, or equivalent experience
* Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
* Ability to understand technical electrical and mechanical drawings
* Excellent fault:finding skills on both electrical and mechanical equipment.
* PLC control code understanding and development experience (Allen Bradley RS Logix is preferred)
* SCADA understanding and development experience (Wonderware preferred)
* Generator protection knowledge and experience
