We are currently recruiting for a motivated individual to work within the
Housing Capital Projects team based at Gresham Road Depot Nuneaton.
Under the general supervision of the Senior Clerk of Works, the Asset Maintenance Officer will support the team by undertaking a varied workload, including but not limited to, minor repairs, stock condition surveys and tenant alteration requests.
Hold a qualification to NVQ 2 or similar in the building trade or housing maintenance.
Minimum 5 years& experience working in construction, refurbishment or property maintenance industry.
A good knowledge of health and safety legislation, along with building regulations and planning processes.
A good level of numeracy and literacy.
Effective communication skills and the ability to adapt behaviour when dealing with different stakeholders and changing situations.
Must hold a full driving license.
Works van supplied, own tools required
Ability to make site visits, be able to climb ladders/scaffolding, access higher levels and to enter in restricted spaces.
Excellent IT skills across all Microsoft packages.
Ability to plan own workload, make sound judgements and to work under pressure.
