Health Education and Improvement Wales (HEIW) is seeking a dynamic and motivated Primary Care Manager to join the Strategic Workforce Plan for Primary Care team as a Workforce Development Manager. This national role will provide expert oversight and leadership for actions focused on the development of the primary care administrative and support staff workforce. It offers a unique opportunity to play a key role in shaping the future of this vital workforce across Wales.

Responsibilities
* Rolling out and embedding the Practice Manager Framework across Wales
* Driving engagement and uptake across primary care
* Developing and promoting training and development opportunities
* Supporting succession planning and career pathways for administrative and support staff
* Providing support to a workforce that is busy, stretched and central to service delivery
* Working at a strategic level, collaborating with stakeholders across Wales to deliver meaningful change and support workforce transformation
