The Opportunity:
I have an excellent opportunity for a Hands On
IT Service, Cyber security and Infrastructure Professional
to join a Global manufacturing company based in West London.
The company prides itself on innovation and best practice and is seen as a market leader within its sector.
Reporting to the Head of IT, you will take ownership of the companies Infrastructure Management, Cyber and IT Service management and day to day operations of their IT Service, Cybersecurity and Infrastructure operations.
The Role:
Oversee and enable day to day operations of the Groups IT Service, Cybersecurity and Infrastructure operations.
Oversee the design & implementation of the Group's IT infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance, and proactive identification of new technologies & modernisation to support growth.
Develop and implement comprehensive cybersecurity strategies to protect the company's digital assets. Monitor and respond to security incidents and vulnerabilities.
Lead the IT service management function, ensuring the IT services meet business needs and are delivered efficiently.
Work closely with other IT team members and departments to drive IT initiatives and foster a collaborative environment.
Lead and manage IT projects and initiatives, ensuring successful implementation and adoption of new technologies and processes.
Liaise with external vendors and service providers to ensure quality and timely delivery of services & initiatives
Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans to ensure the company can quickly recover from IT disruptions.
Ensure IT systems and processes comply with relevant regulations and standards. Conduct regular audits to identify and address compliance gaps.
Manage the relevant components of the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources and alignment with business priorities.
Implement and oversee performance monitoring tools and processes to ensure optimal operation of IT systems.
Develop and deliver training programs to enhance user understanding and effective use of IT systems. Provide high-level support for complex IT issues.
The Person:
Minimum of 6 years of experience within IT, with a broad understanding of infrastructure, cybersecurity, and IT service management.
Knowledge and understanding of MDR/XDR/Email Security/MFA/Endpoint Management tools.
Proven experience in leading and managing IT projects and delivering change.
Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and cloud services including Azure, M365
A self-starter with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure with competing priorities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, collaborative and team-oriented approach.
Ability to lead and drive change within the organization.
Experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment is preferred.
