We are looking for a Business Development Manager to join our team in Oslo or Weybridge, where you will play a key role in driving the growth of our CCS business. In this role, you will identify and secure new projects, build strategic partnerships with key stakeholders, and expand our market presence.
Key Responsibilities
* Broaden and further develop client, stakeholder, and government relations – key account management.
* Contribute to the development of, and execute, regional business development strategy to expand CCS market presence and increase revenue.
* Originate ITTs, direct awards, and multi-client opportunities, supporting product line bidding strategies.
* Collaborate closely with product line teams to understand offerings and tailor solutions to meet client needs, actively gathering feedback from customers.
* Identify and develop meaningful partnership opportunities to enable NES growth in CCS.
* Provide regular reports and updates on business development activities and progress towards targets.
* Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to inform strategic decision-making.
* Maintain a clear macro understanding of the CCS business, financial drivers, development timelines, and peak opportunity windows for engagement and sales.
Manage processes to obtain potential permits and necessary approvals in a timely manner for MC options.
* Generate and qualify leads through networking, market research, and direct client outreach.
* Provide sales presentations to existing and prospective customers to determine solution needs.
* Develop marketing and promotion campaigns aligned with sales triggers and government partner strategies.
* Collaborate with MC Business Development and Contract Business Development teams.
* Work with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
Key Competencies
* Strategic thinking and the ability to understand and sell diverse projects and data products.
* Existing network of regional customers.
* Experience with government relations.
* A solid track record of identifying, originating, and securing sales, and delivering on revenue targets.
* Knowledge of new energy markets such as wind and CCS.
* Experience speaking at major CCS conferences, publishing articles, etc.
