About Our Client

Job Description
3. Reviews production schedule and when equipment is not scheduled for manufacturing, performs preventative maintenance and tests
4. Carry out preventative maintenance checks and inspections, reports findings to Engineering Manager and takes appropriate action
5. Analysis mechanical/electrical and operational problems on equipment and plans for and takes corrective action
6. Makes necessary corrections and running adjustments to maintain maximum production and quality
7. Tests equipment, clears jams, try out equipment after repairs, change overs or extended downtime
8. Acts as a specialist on the production equipment, supporting production team with day-to-day problems to maintain output and efficiency
9. Responsible for machine availability and efficiency
10. Liaise with the production assistant manager to support manufacturing
11. Ensure all compliance checks are complete and correctly filed
12. Liaise with Technical Manager and compliance team to investigate, and resolve any H&S, Food Safety, Environmental, BRC, Halal, ISO compliance issues in your area of responsibility
13. Carry out machine adjustments and changeovers to support production line efficiency and minimise downtime
14. Undertake and successfully complete any training / refresher training deemed appropriate to your roles and responsibilities as a multiskilled engineer and in line with legal or compliance

The Successful Applicant
You will be an experienced Multi-Skilled/Maintenance Engineer, ideally in a Manufacturing environment along with:
15. A relevant qualification in engineering or a related field.
16. Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving abilities.
17. Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance requirements.
18. A proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
19. Excellent communication and teamwork skills
