About Parent Pathways
Parent Pathways is a voluntary government program supporting parents and carers with children under six to build confidence, reduce barriers, and take steps toward education and/or employment — at a pace that works for them.
The Role – Parent/Carer Mentor

Community Engagement & Partnerships
6. Build visible, consistent relationships with local community organisations, services, and referral partners to strengthen pathways for parents and carers.
7. Represent Parent Pathways in the community by attending local events, playgroups, and community hubs to connect with families in natural, welcoming settings.
8. Collaborate with community partners and service providers to enhance program offerings and link parents to supports beyond employment (where appropriate).
9. Promote the benefits of Parent Pathways to stakeholders and community networks, helping parents feel informed, safe, and empowered to opt in.
Quality, Compliance & Continuous Improvement
10. Maintain accurate documentation and case notes to support high standards of compliance and service quality.
11. Monitor and evaluate engagement and program effectiveness and contribute feedback for continuous improvement.
