Sussex Community Dermatology Services (SCDS) is one of the largest independent providers of NHS dermatology services in the UK. We are seeking ambitious Consultant Dermatologists to join our team in the South-East of England. You will be part of a team of 23 consultants providing expert care in diagnosing and managing dermatological conditions, including inflammatory skin diseases, skin cancer, and complex cases.

Main duties of the job
* Deliver high-quality care to patients referred from primary and secondary care in outpatient settings.
* Assess and manage a wide range of dermatological conditions, including skin cancer and inflammatory diseases.
* Participate in multidisciplinary teams and support junior clinicians within a collaborative environment.

Sussex Community Dermatology Service (SCDS) and Kent Integrated Dermatology Services (KIDS) aim to triage dermatoses effectively, enabling a see-and-treat approach during the initial appointment and reducing follow-up visits. Our services include a skilled nurse prescribing team capable of managing systemic and biologic therapies. Clinical offerings encompass day surgery, minor operations, dermoscopy, patch testing, photodynamic therapy, and phototherapy. Our focus remains on meeting patients' needs and preferences, prioritizing their wellbeing in all decisions.
We collaborate with NHS trusts and integrated care boards to deliver over 100,000 new patient consultations annually, covering full cancer pathways, biologics, and subspecialties. We are a GMC-recognized designated body for revalidation, providing annual appraisals for our consultants.

We seek dedicated Consultant Dermatologists to work across various clinics in Sussex, including general dermatology, 2-week wait pathways, and minor procedures. You will join a team of 23 consultants providing expert diagnosis and management of dermatological conditions.
