About the Role: The Sales Coordinator is part of Wiley’s Global Sales Administration (GSA) team and plays a vital role in supporting our commercial sales activities. We are looking for an experienced administrator to provide end‑to‑end sales and operational support to the Licensing and Permissions business. This role supports global corporate customers and our b-t-b sales teams, ensuring that licensing activities are delivered efficiently, accurately, and in line with internal policies and governance. The Sales Coordinator works closely with sales colleagues to keep processes running smoothly, contributes to a high standard of customer service, and helps enable revenue generation by ensuring timely and reliable administrative support. Job Responsibilities: Manage shared email inboxes and provide professional, timely responses to customer and partner enquiries Support deal setup, license creation and amendments, invoicing, payment follow‑up, and sales reporting Update and maintain customer, license, and deal information in Salesforce and GRD Work with Global Sales Partnerships and Finance colleagues to support royalty processing and allocation Compiling standard and ad hoc business reports as needed. Communicating with Account Mangers, Sales Support colleagues, Sales Admin Team Manager and others as required. How you will make an impact: Provide comprehensive sales administration support to the Licensing and Permissions team, helping ensure deals progress smoothly from enquiry through to invoicing and payment Act as a first point of contact for customers by managing shared inboxes, responding to enquiries, and triaging licensing requests appropriately Coordinate closely with internal sales teams to deliver timely information and service that improves customer satisfaction and supports commercial outcomes Maintain accurate data and reporting across systems such as Salesforce and the Wiley Global Rights Database (GRD) Support compliance with internal policies, governance standards, and established licensing processes Manage a varied workload effectively, prioritizing tasks across customer support, reporting, invoicing, and administrative activities We are looking for people who: Must have excellent written and oral English communications skills. Proficiency in other European language is a plus. Previous experience within a sales administration role would be advantageous but not essential. Attention to detail and ability to prioritize is a key requirement. Experience working with Salesforce.com would be an advantage. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with periods of high workload due to sales cycles with peak times. Experience with Excel. Ability to work with cross functional teams. The range below represents Wiley's good faith and reasonable estimate of the base pay for this role at the time of posting roles either in the United Kingdom, Canada or USA. It is anticipated that most qualified candidates will fall within the range, however the ultimate salary offered for this role may be higher or lower and will be set based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including but not limited to, geographic location, skills, and competencies.
