Panel Beater / Coachbuilder – Bus Fleet Maintenance Location: York Hours: Monday to Friday, Day Shifts Salary: £37,000 – £42,000 per annum We are seeking a skilled and reliable Panel Beater / Coachbuilder to join our team maintaining and repairing a fleet of buses in York. This is a full-time, permanent position offering stability, competitive pay, and regular daytime working hours. Key Responsibilities: Carry out panel repairs and bodywork on buses to a high standard Repair or replace panels using aluminium, fibreglass, and composite materials Perform structural repairs to vehicle frames and bodies Ensure all work complies with safety and quality standards Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environmentRequirements: Previous experience as a panel beater or coachbuilder, ideally with buses, HGVs, or commercial vehicles Strong understanding of vehicle body repair techniques Ability to work independently and as part of a team NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Body Repair or equivalent is preferred, though time-served experience will be consideredWhat We Offer: Competitive salary between £37,000 and £42,000.
