The role involves teaching small groups of highly complex young people deprived of their liberty. You will collaborate closely with Care and Health teams, prioritizing the young person’s well-being.
There may be significant gaps in their education; therefore, the ability to identify these gaps and develop effective plans with the support of the Head of Learning is essential. You will perform as a professional teacher, demonstrating excellent curriculum knowledge, effective teaching, learning, and assessment skills, and a passion to support young people in achieving their potential. Flexibility to teach more than one subject is required.
