Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer Uttoxeter area Continental shifts (4 on 4 off, rotating days and nights) £48 250 My client who are an award winning, nationally recognised food manufacturer, are seeking a number of Multi Skilled Engineers to join their large engineering team It is an ideal role for a multi-skilled / electrical engineer with a passion for improvements and improving reliability in a factory setting. Typical responsibilities include – * Maintain and enhance the performance of plant and equipment (both reactive and PPM) * Establishing root cause analysis (RCA) throughout the factory * Both short and long term fixes across all breakdowns * Planned Preventive maintenance, complete all allocated P.M.’s in the set time frame * Providing a high quality engineering service to both engineering and production teams * Ensure engineering downtime is accurately logged, monitor repair times, and find new methods / procedures to reduce these * Training Production staff The ideal candidate will be – * An engineer with a background in the food, FMCG or manufacturing industry, with good experience of carrying out PPMs * Ideally multiskilled (multi-skilled) * Strong mechanical understanding and appreciation * A passion for reliability / improvements.
