About the role
You will be based in the districts central car park office and will have day-to-day responsibility for supervising theCivil Enforcement Officers, overseeing deployment, performance, and operational standards.
The role involves ensuring parking regulations are enforced fairly, accurately and consistently in line with legislation, guidance and council policy. You will support operational responses to issues such as abandoned vehicles, assist with event planning that impacts parking and highways, and help deliver service improvements and new initiatives alongside the senior management team.
As part of the role, you will provide operational guidance, training and support to officers, undertake performance management activity, and assist with recruitment, appraisals and development. You will also deal with more complex or challenging public interactions, acting as a confident and professional senior presence on-street.
You will work on a rota basis across a full week (Monday Sunday).
