We are seeking a Senior Admissions Officer (Partnerships & DL) to provide expert guidance on admissions matters and lead a high-performing team delivering a responsive, applicant-centred service. This post is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of admissions processes for our partnership and distance learning provision, maintaining compliance with internal policies and external regulations.

The Senior Admissions Officer serves as a subject matter expert in admissions, leading a high-performing team, advising senior management, streamlining course-specific processes, fostering cross-departmental collaboration, and representing Admissions in strategic initiatives to ensure compliance, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

We want you to be able to carry out your work in a way that best supports UON and our students, but also you as an individual. We understand this may vary between different areas of the university as well as from one person to another. With Smarter Working you can work with increased flexibility, if you would like to, which can facilitate greater freedom and autonomy.

About You

Candidates should demonstrate excellent IT proficiency, particularly with databases and Microsoft Office, as well as exceptional problem-solving abilities and a creative approach to administrative challenges. Knowledge and experience of UK and international qualifications and frameworks is essential. Outstanding communication, planning, and interpersonal skills are required to build effective relationships and contribute to strategic initiatives.
