Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the crating production workshop and oversee a skilled team.
* Ensure the safe handling and packing of paintings, artefacts, and museum objects.
* Oversee internal and external client relationships, providing excellent customer service.
* Control costs, complete price estimations, and manage project expenses.
* Supervise the construction of museum-standard crates, including interior fitouts.
* Handle artwork installations and object placements with precision.
* Implement quality control measures to maintain the highest standards.
* Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
* Train and mentor team members to enhance efficiency and craftsmanship.
* Collaborate with museums, galleries, and institutions worldwide.
Requirements:
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in art crating and team leadership.
* Strong knowledge of museum-standard crate construction and packing methods.
* Experience in cost estimation, budgeting, and project management.
* Ability to handle delicate artworks and artefacts with care and precision.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
* Physically fit and capable of completing all job-related tasks.
* Must have a clear police record for visa purposes.
