What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking for someone who:
* Has strong administrative experience and excellent written English
* Is confident and capable in the use of AI tools for drafting, summarising, note‑taking and minute production (essential)
* Has high digital literacy, including Microsoft Office and online systems
* Is well organised, reliable and able to meet deadlines independently
* Understands confidentiality, GDPR and safeguarding principles
* Can attend meetings that generally take place from 5:00pm to 7:00pm, with flexibility when required and with notice given
Experience in clerking or school governance is helpful but not essential if strong transferable skills are demonstrated.

* Plan, prepare and administer Local Committee meetings in line with Trust expectations
* Attend and minute meetings, which are usually held from 5:00pm to 7:00pm; if meeting times vary, notice will always be provided
* Produce clear, impartial and accurate minutes reflecting discussion, challenge and decisions
* Provide procedural and governance advice to the Chair and committee
* Maintain accurate governance records, update GovernorHub and support compliance with statutory requirements
* Use AI tools to support drafting, summarising and efficient document production
