We are thrilled to be supporting our Legal client to recruit an experienced Document Production Assistant to join their busy team on a full time, permanent basis.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and timely production of legal documents for the organisation.
What you'll do
* Prepare and format legal documents and correspondence in accordance with company standards
* Proofread and edit documents to ensure accuracy and consistency
* Assist with document management tasks, including filing and archiving
* Coordinate with other team members to meet project deadlines
* Handle confidential information with discretion
What you'll need
* Previous experience preparing, formatting, and lodging court documents (e.g. summonses, affidavits, productions, motion sheets) is required.
* Have an understanding of court timelines, deadlines, and scheduling.
* Familiarity with sheriff court and civil litigation processes (or willingness to learn quickly) is essential.
* Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
* Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
* Strong organisation and confident communication skills will be essential as is experience using Microsoft Office packages and digital dictation
