Where Is The Work
Field-based: Work is conducted on-site at customer locations.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform complex diagnoses and repairs of equipment and systems at customer’s location.
* Perform complex preventative maintenance, inspections, site surveys, and service requests.
* Perform complex repairs of mechanical and electro‑mechanical components of productive and non‑productive equipment and machinery.
* Carrying out commissioning and taking part in planned on‑call duties.
* Daily reporting of hours and activities by means of a digital work order, inspection list and time sheet to the Service Department.
* Managing own stock, materials, tools, and PPE in the service vehicle.
* Frequent trips to our factory in France (Epinal) to follow up on orders and ensure everything runs smoothly and meets customer requirements.
Qualifications / Key Competencies
This role plays a vital role in ensuring customer satisfaction by servicing complex products and equipment on assigned projects.
* Able to effectively manage complex technical projects.
* Effectively communicate, negotiate, and influence different stakeholders.
* Develop and maintain good relationships with key stakeholders, internally and externally, and lead by example through adhering to the leadership principles.
* May provide coaching, act as subject‑matter expert for less experienced technicians and customers, and may provide sales support to account managers.
* Ability to perform all work in the service and maintenance field on all major types of equipment.
* Able to work under limited supervision.
* Use cutting‑edge software and technology, along with a variety of hand‑tools, following blueprints or engineering specifications to diagnose and repair units.
* This role requires previous relevant experience in refrigeration or HVAC technology or an equivalent combination of education (Technical School) and experience.
* In possession of a European F‑gas certificate.
* Several years’ experience at Field Service Representative level.
* Current clean driver’s license.
* Strong ability to work flexibly across multiple locations.
* Excellent written and oral communication.
* Good laptop experience is preferred.
