Health Care Assistant – Radiology
We are looking to recruit a Bank Health Care Assistant to join our Radiology team at Pinehill Hospital in Hitchin. Our Radiology team plays a vital role in providing excellent patient outcomes, and we reward them with an interesting and varied role.
The role
The Radiology Health Care Assistants will work closely with the Consultant Radiologists and will support the Ultrasound service by providing excellent patient care. As a HCA you will be responsible for assisting the Radiologists with examinations and support in the planning and booking ultrasound lists.
* What you will do:
* Set up clnics and work with Consultant Radiologists during Ultrasound clinics
* Assist with minor procedures e.g US guided injections, biopsies
* Face to face and telephone communication with Sepatients and Consultants.
* Administrative duties including finishing each examination properly and appointing patients for Ultrasound clinics.
