Salary: £39,000 - £46,000 Per Annum, Dependent Upon Experience

Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Principal Social Worker, you will:
* Support and deputize for the Registered Manager as needed.
* Supervise team members to foster a collaborative environment.
* Empower and promote foster parents to reach their full potential.
* Ensure compliance and monitor the performance of foster parents and staff.
* Work in partnership with children, young people, foster parents, and professionals to prioritize safeguarding and achieve positive outcomes.
What We’re Looking For
We are seeking a qualified and experienced social worker who is passionate about making a difference. The ideal candidate will have:
* A Social Care England recognized qualification in Social Work or equivalent.
* Experience working with children and young people, particularly those looked after.
* A comprehensive understanding of relevant legislation supporting fostering and children looked after.
* A full driving license with unrestricted access to your own car.
Strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to safeguarding are essential. You should be comfortable working autonomously while also thriving in a team environment. Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends is required to meet the needs of the agency.
