An opportunity has arisen for 2 part-time clerical officers, one mornings/one afternoons to join the admin team in Cowal Community Hospital, Dunoon.
These posts will be located within the Extended Community Care Team to support effective clinical care by providing an efficient administrative service to patients, medical, nursing and AHP staff. We are looking for self-motivated individuals who can work as part of a team, therefore, excellent communication, organisational and keyboard skills are required. Calls to this service will be taken for a single point of access, therefore you will have a calm and pleasant manner, be well organised and able to work on your own initiative as well as the ability to work well under pressure and a flexible approach to the needs of the department are essential.
You will have a good educational background with proven work experience in a similar role. You should have typing skills to the equivalent of ECDL/SVQ2. Knowledge of medical terminology and previous NHS experience are desirable but not necessary. Induction, training, support and supervision will be provided.
