Job Title: Sales & Office Administrator

Location: Trees Direct, Ludlow, Shropshire

Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

Contract: Self-Employed, Temporary with potential to become permanent

Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-4pm

The Role

We are looking for an organised and proactive Sales & Office Administrator to join our friendly team. This is a varied role that supports the smooth running of the business, combining customer service, sales administration, and office coordination. The position is initially offered on a self-employed, temporary basis, with the possibility of becoming permanent for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

* Handling customer enquiries via phone, email, and online platforms with professionalism and care.
* Processing daily sales orders and ensuring accurate records in our system.
* Assisting with stock checks and liaising with the nursery team to coordinate dispatch.
* Supporting marketing efforts, including website updates, newsletters, and social media.
* General office administration including filing, data entry.
* Providing occasional support at seasonal peaks such as Christmas and national planting campaigns.

About You

* Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
* Confident communicator with a customer-focused approach.
* Comfortable using computers, email, and online order systems (training provided).
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt during busy seasonal periods.
* An interest in trees, gardening, or the environment would be an advantage.
* Due to our rural location, your own transport is essential.
