Responsibilities

* Conduct routine inspections and tests on metallurgical samples and materials.
* Analyse test results and compile detailed reports to assist in decision-making processes.
* Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize processes and material usage.
* Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure accurate measurements.
* Implement and adhere to safety protocols and industry standards to maintain a safe working environment.
* Assist in developing new metallurgical processes and technologies to enhance operational efficiency.
* Provide technical support and training to junior technicians and operators.
* Bachelor's degree in Metallurgy, Materials Science, or a related field.
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in a metallurgy or materials testing environment.
* Strong knowledge of metal properties, processing techniques, and testing methodologies.
* Proficiency in using metallurgical analysis equipment and software.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and communicate clearly with colleagues.
* Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules in a dynamic industry.
