Newstaff Employment is hiring a reliable Yard Operative in Stevenage to join a busy outdoor working environment. This is an ongoing position offering full-time hours, ideal for someone physically fit who enjoys hands-on work and being part of a friendly, hardworking team.
Location: Stevenage
Salary: £13.00 per hour + accrued holiday pay
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 am – 4:00 pm
Job Type: Full-time, Ongoing

Key Responsibilities
1. Keep the yard clean, tidy, and well organised.
2. Assist with loading and unloading vehicles, including handling moderately heavy items.
3. Maintain safe working practices across the yard.
4. Support general yard duties as required.
5. Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Essential Skills & Experience
6. Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling.
7. Reliable, hardworking, and able to work independently.
8. Good awareness of safety practices.
9. Positive attitude and willingness to support the wider team.
