We prioritize people in everything we do and are seeking a dynamic, confident, and ambitious new Food & Beverage Assistant for our fabulous Moxy and JIM's Kitchen & Bar.
Our property in Slough is the first dual-branded hotel, operating two hotels in one building. Residence Inn by Marriott offers extended stays with suites that include fully equipped kitchens, providing a home-like environment for our guests, the Maximizers, who want to maximize their stay with services like grocery shopping, complimentary breakfast, and access to local attractions in Slough, London, Windsor, and surrounding areas.
#ATTHEMOXY is a vibrant, free-spirited environment where guests can enjoy unique experiences with like-minded individuals, known as our Fun Hunters. The Wi-Fi is fast, beds are comfortable, and the bar is always open, with our crew ready to serve in multiple roles—from bartenders and greeters to front desk attendants and problem solvers.
What will I be doing?
1. Mise en place / food and beverage preparation
2. Assist with receiving and storage of goods
3. Maintain good food safety, hygiene standards, and practices
4. Assist with preparations for food and beverage functions and service
5. Assist with cellar operations
6. Prepare food and beverage outlets for service, including cleaning equipment, maintaining glassware and china, setting up tables, serving beverages, and recording stock replacements
7. Handle billing procedures in line with hotel policy and order/store mini-bar items
8. Establish and maintain effective employee working relationships
9. Participate in daily briefings and meetings as scheduled
10. Cross-training provided at Reception
11. Perform other duties as required
