An established electrical control panel manufacturer is expanding into new industry sectors and is seeking an experienced Sales Engineer to support growth across OEM, commercial, and industrial markets.
This role will focus on the sale of bespoke and high-volume electrical control panels, including motor control centres, interface panels, and small BMS systems, to OEM manufacturers and end users across multiple sectors.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and manage new and existing customer relationships
* Generate sales through both account management and new business development
* Prepare estimates and quotations for customer enquiries
* Carry out site surveys and client visits as required
* Work to defined sales and profit targets
* Provide regular sales activity and forecast reporting
* Collaborate with internal teams to deliver customer solutions
Key Requirements
* Experience in single and three-phase low voltage electrical power and control systems
* Knowledge of control panels, motor control centres, and switchgear (or willingness to develop)
* Understanding of variable speed drives and motor control systems
* Experience selling technical or engineered systems preferred
* Ability to manage own workload, meet deadlines, and work independently
* Strong communication skills at all levels
Technical Skills
* Electrical knowledge of 400V systems and motors (single and three phase)
* IP / computer networking experience
* PC literate with CRM systems and Microsoft Word / Excel
This role includes regular site visits and close collaboration with senior management to align sales strategy and performance.
