Job Summary
South West Yorkshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a 15‑hour part‑time Administrative Officer who will work Thursday and Friday, 9‑5, supporting the Perinatal Mental Health Team. The role is one of three full‑time equivalent (WTE) admin support positions providing administrative support to the peri‑natal clinical team.

Main Duties
Provide excellent administrative support in a clinical environment:
* First point of contact for people referred to the Perinatal Mental Health Service, delivering warm and sensitive communication.
* Email handling, booking appointments, diary management, and use of clinical systems.
* Telephone reception and customer service.
* Maintain confidentiality and execute tasks within established policies and procedures.
* Prioritise workload, manage deadlines, and adapt to competing demands.
* Act as the primary liaison between service users, the Trust, and the public.
Requirements
Qualifications
* NVQ Level 3, RSA III, OCR III, or equivalent in business administration, typing, or customer services.
* Or evidence of competency at Level 3.
Experience
* Recent secretarial/administrative experience.
* Computer literacy – email, Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint.
* Diary and meeting management.
* Transcription, note‑taking, or audio typing where applicable.
* Teamwork with minimal supervision.
* Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
* Initiative and organisational skills to meet deadlines.
Training & Development
* Willingness to undertake mandatory Trust training, refresher training, and ongoing job development.
Special Knowledge & Skills
* Strong written and verbal communication, including routine correspondence.
* Decision‑making, prioritisation, and judgement.
* Knowledge of the Data Protection Act and information governance.

Benefits & Conditions
* Pay: £25,760 – £27,476 per year (Pro Rata).
* Band 3 permanent contract.
