Band and Location
Band 5 or Band 6 (depending on experience). We are looking to recruit an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our service in North Angus, based at Whitehills Health & Community Care Centre (WHCCC) with a focus on the Medicine for the Elderly wards.
Responsibilities
* Provide Occupational Therapy assessment and intervention for a caseload that includes older adults, physical disability, palliative and long-term conditions.
* Work within the community rehabilitation team delivering rehabilitation and provision of equipment.
* Collaborate closely with the Physiotherapy Team and supervise generic AHP support workers.
* Be part of the wider multi-disciplinary team (MDT) and contribute to service development and CPD.

The Occupational Therapy Service in Angus offers comprehensive support, supervision and is committed to Continued Professional Development and actively uses Turas.
Qualifications and Requirements
* BSc/Dip COT in Occupational Therapy.
* Registered with HCPC and evidence of continuing personal development.
* Willingness to travel across the locality.
Hours and Terms
Hours of work: 37 hours per week. Fixed Term/Secondment until 31/03/2026. Current NHS Tayside Employees: written approval must be sought from your line manager prior to applying for this secondment.
