We have an exciting opportunity to join our Medicines Management Team at Wansford Surgery for 30 hours a week worked Monday to Friday.
This is a varied role and will suit someone with an interest in medicines and who is methodical and has excellent attention to detail.
You will work under the direct supervision of the Clinical Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technician.
Main duties of the job
To work under the supervision of the Pharmacy Technician and Pharmacists to ensure the safe, accurate and timely supply of prescriptions to patients.
To provide administrative support to the Pharmacy Technician and Pharmacists.

We are an innovative and forward thinking practice we have an onsite pharmacy and research department. We have an expansive team consisting of Drs, Nurses, Admin support and a Medicine Management Team.
Job responsibilities
1. Work with the Pharmacy Technician and Clinical Pharmacists in accordance with agreed practice prescribing standard operating procedures
2. Process repeat prescription requests
3. Issue prescriptions in line with agreed clinical protocols and within your competency
4. Support medication review process through requesting blood tests, sending invites, accurx responses
5. High risk drug monitoring/other drug monitoring/CQC drug safety searches
6. To assist the Pharmacy Technician and Pharmacists with data analysis of prescribing behaviour in line with NICE guidelines and local clinical commissioning directives
7. Provide a contact for patients and colleagues with medication queries
8. Project work/prescribing initiatives under the support of the Pharmacy Technician and Pharmacists
9. Liaise with Clinicians and staff to resolve prescribing queries
11. Administrative work for the team
